SPORTING RIFLE IN 243 WIN. CAL. & MATCHING FIBERGLASS CASE. Cal. 243 Win. S# CS373. This rifle is based on an updated Sharps-Borchardt action. Approx. 502 mfg. 1970-1977; 1 of 103 in 243 Win. cal. Tapered 26" barrel. Deluxe rifles were packaged with a Leupold VARI-X II 3-9x40 scope w/ specialized base & rings. Action has Timken roller bearings & Canjar set trigger. Fleur-De-Lis checkering on Monte Carlo walnut stock set w/ left side cheekpiece, black pad & engraved cartridge trap door. UNATTACHED ACCESORIES: Sharps Arms Company green fiberglass case having foam fitted interior & matching numbered plaque. Case contains keys, brown leather sling, cleaning rod & 3 cases holding brushes, screw set & swivels. Case in fair condition missing 1 latch. CONDITION: this rifle has a remarkable over 90% original blue & wood finish. The receiver has a plum hue. The barrel has sm. area of marks & scattered pinprick patina. Left side of forearm has a few light rub marks. Very good rifling. Scope has very good appearance with plum tone to finish; serviceable optics with light residue on ocular lens. (25-5613/MD).
