Lot 2086 DANGEROUS GAME DOUBLE RIFLE CONVERTED FROM

SHOTGUN BY BOB HYNDEN WITH CASE. Cal. 577 Nitro for Black. S# PG33312. Using a Laurona 10 Ga. magnum boxlock action barrels were monobloced, new ribs fitted and barrels regulated. The 26" barrels fitted with matted quarter rib holding single leaf express rear sight and silver bead in raised ramp are stamped with caliber on each side. Barrel flats with original Spanish proofs are newly stamped "650 GR. BUL. MAX" "80.0 GR IMR 4198". A sling eye is screwed to bottom rib. Case hardened boxlock action with automatic safety, hidden third fastener, side clips, reinforced frame and double triggers is engraved with broad shaded acanthus around flying bird on each side. Turquoise stone capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13-3/4" over recoil pad covered with brown tape. Point pattern checkering is at grip and a sling eye is on toeline. Matching beavertail forend has Anson release. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: rifle is housed in new green canvas case with tan leather corners; lined in green felt. A Bob Hynden label is in lid along with a test target showing good regulation of barrels. CONDITION: fine as custom finished. Barrels retaining nearly all custom applied black. Action retains nearly all original case hardening color. Trigger guard re-blued and silvered on tang. Stock with added finish and color. Bores are very fine. Action is tight. Mechanically good.
