ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 223 Rem. S# G2031398. Bbl. 26" heavy tapered having .700" muzzle with recessed crown; marked "SPORTER VARMINT". Mfg. 1991 being drilled and tapped for front sight base on barrel and scope mounts on receiver. Fitted with front sight base having RPA globe sight with iris polarizer. Front bridge of its short action receiver has steel Weaver style base plus Mo's stripper clip charger on rear bridge. Multi position target sight base on left rear of receiver. Bolt knob machined round to accept its large black knob. Fitted with Jewel stainless 2 stage trigger. Factory trigger guard used without floorplate. Match target stock with front rail having rotational hand stop and swivel. Deep magazine section similar to Palma style. Microbedded action and first portion of barrel; has aluminum action pillars. Pistol grip area has RH palm swell and stippling of Anschutz style. Butt has adjustable comb and adjustable aluminum buttplate with Pachmayr basket weave pad. Utilizes blind magazine box assembly from original rifle. CONDITION: an occasional light handling mark, but overall near excellent to include bore. (25-3702/NW). MODERN. $650-900.
