^Lot 1704 WWII HUNGARIAN M1932 AIR FORCE OFFICER'S DAGGER.

A scarce WWII Hungarian Air Force officer's dagger measuring 15 1/8" overall with a plain unmarked blade. The blade appears plated and has a raised medial ridge. Lightly gilded hilt with a large heavy eagle crossguard. The pommel is in the shape of an eagle's head. Dark vertically reeded grip. Gilded cast metal scabbard. CONDITION: plating on the blade is peeling slightly and most of the gilded finish has worn off the hilt. Grip is undamaged. The small catch on the reverse of the crossguard is missing. (02-24935/BF).
