^Lot 1684 WWII GERMAN WEHRMACHT ARTILLERY MAJOR'S TUNIC.

A deep sage green tunic for a Major of Artillery with a dark green collar with silver bullion collar tabs on green with red centers. The shoulder straps are bullion on red for the rank of major. There are 5 pebbled finish buttons down the front with the same buttons on the 4 front pockets. The right breast has a bullion eagle that may have been reapplied after the war as it may be of post war manufacture. Above the left breast pocket is a well worn 6 award medal bar, and the pocket has 2 sts of loops that hold a 1st Class Iron Cross and a Silver Wound Badge. The lining is dark gray rayon and the sleeves are lined in cotton. There is no interior pocket. CONDITION: tunic shows light overall. The interior also shows light wear with minor staining to the upper sleeve lining. (02-24902/BF). NON-GUN. $600-900.
