Lot 1683 WWII GERMAN ARTILLERY MAJOR'S TUNIC FOR GENERAL'S

STAFF.A bright sage green tunic for a Major of Artillery with a dark green collar with silver bullion collar tabs for the general's staff on green. The shoulder straps are bullion on red for the rank of major. There are 5 pebbled finish buttons down the front with the same buttons on the 4 front pockets. The right breast has a bullion eagle and above the left breast pocket is a 3 award medal bar, and the pocket has 3 sets of loops for badges. The second button hole has a sewn in ribbon for the 2nd class Iron Cross. The lining is green rayon and the sleeves are lined in striped rayon. There is a label in the collar that reads " H. Kerstges DORTMUND". CONDITION: tunic shows light overall wear. The interior also shows light wear. (02-24899/BF). NON-GUN. $650-1,000.
