^Lot 1681 WWII GERMAN WEHRMACHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S TUNIC.

A deep sage green tunic with a dark green collar piped in yellow with silver tape on yellow collar tabs. The shoulder straps are enlisted bordered in yellow with an embroidered yellow "3" and silver bullion edge tape for a lance-sergeant. The pebbled finish buttons on the collar tabs display the number "5". The front of the tunic, cuffs, and tails are also piped in yellow. The cuff flashes are also yellow with bullion silver tape. There are 8 pebbled finish buttons down the front with the same buttons on the cuffs and tails. The right breast has a flat bullion eagle and the is a shooting lanyard hanging from the right shoulder. There are 2 sets of loops at the left breast for badges. The lining is olive drab green cotton, and the sleeve lining is a striped light cotton. No labels or markings. CONDITION: tunic shows light wear overall. The interior also shows light wear with minor staining to the upper sleeve lining. (02-24904/BF). NON-GUN. $700-1,000.
