Lot 1669 WWII GERMAN MEDICAL OFFICER'S VISOR CAP.
A good example of a WWII German Medical Officer's visor cap with a sage green crown and dark green band, all piped in bright blue. The front of the crown has a silver bullion army eagle and the front of the band has a fine bullion wreath with metal cockade. Bullion chin strap terminated by small pebbled finish buttons. Black visor with tan underside, brown sweatband, and golden yellow rayon lined with rounded diamond sweatshield. CONDITION: cap has no notable moth damage and is solid overall. The black finish on the visor is bubbled just a bit. The liner shows expected sweat stains. (02-24896-1/BF). NON-GUN. $500-800.
