^Lot 1662 WWII GERMAN M42 HELMET WITH NORMANDY CAMOUFLAGE

PAINTED SURFACE.A sought after WWII German M1942 helmet with brown & green Normandy Camouflage painted finish and no decals. The inside rear of the helmet is stamped " 3806 " and the inner left is stamped "NS64" indicating manufacture by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte. Dark brown 8 tongue liner and black leather chinstrap. CONDITION: painted finish is about 85%. The liner is dry and has a few very minor losses. Chinstrap is dry but complete. (02-24868/BF).
