DAGGERS.1) A fine example of a miniature WWII German Hunting Association dagger measuring 9 1/4" overall with a beautifully etched blade marked " E. F. HORSTER (logo) SOLINGEN ". Etching includes various hunting scenes with game animals. Silvered deer leg crossguard with hoof finials and down turned scallop shell guard. Silvered pommel and ferrule. Simulated horn grip with Hunting Association insignia on front grip. Scabbard body appears to be dark green painted brass with silver plated mounts and an acorn frog stud. CONDITION: the dagger and scabbard show very light wear. 2) A fine example of a miniature WWII German Hunting Association dagger measuring 8 3/8" overall with a beautifully etched blade marked " ALCOSO (logo) SOLINGEN ". Etching includes various hunting scenes with game animals and a panel that reads " Chemische Fabrik Vorhalle Hagen-Vorhalle ". Silvered embellished crossguard and down turned shell guard. Embellished silvered pommel and ferrule. Horn grip. Scabbard body appears to be dark green leather over iron with silver plated mounts and an acorn frog stud.
