A very fine example of a WWII German Luftwaffe survival machete measuring 21 3/4" overall. The plain blade is lightly marked " (logo) Alcoso SOLINGEN ". Steel S-shaped crossguard with 2-piece wooden grips and iron pommel. blued iron scabbard. CONDITION: this machete is a real beauty and likely unissued. No damage noted but the blade has spotsof staining likely from internal scabbard parts. (02-24915/BF). NON-GUN. $1,000-1,400.
