WEYERSBERG.A fine WWII German 2nd model RLB subordinate dagger with an overall length of 14 1/2". Plain blade marked " PAUL WEYERSBERG & Co SOLINGEN (logo)". Nickel silver eagle crossguard with raised ring pommel. Dark wood grip with central black enameled Luftschutz star. Black enameled scabbard with plated mounts. Complete with original hanger. CONDITION: blade has original factory polish with very minor scabbard wear. Hilt shows light wear and the black enameled star is a little scuffed. Scabbard shows light wear and the hanger leather is a bit flaked. (02-24954/BF). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
