^Lot 1610 WWII GERMAN RAD HEWER BY EICKHORN.

A fine WWII German RAD hewer with an overall length: 16 1/2". Blade is etched "Arbeit adelt". The blade is marked near the hilt "RLAD" in a triangle, & "GES. GESCH. CARL EICKHORN (logo) SOLINGEN". Plated guard, ferrule, side straps, & beak of the eagle-like pommel. The ferrule is stamped " Fu96 ". 2-Piece antler grips secured by 2 screws. Scabbard has plated mounts w/ a black enameled body that may be repainted. CONDITION: blade shows heavy cleaning and polishing. Hilt shows light wear with minor finish loss. Scabbard shows light overall wear, body may be repainted. (02-24952/BF). NON-GUN. $600-800.
