^Lot 1609 WWII GERMAN RAD HEWER BY EICKHORN.

A fine WWII German RAD hewer with an overall length: 15 3/4". Blade is etched "Arbeit adelt". The blade is marked near the hilt "RLAD" in a triangle, & "GES. GESCH. ORIGINAL (logo) Eickhorn SOLINGEN". Nickel silver guard, ferrule, side straps, & beak of the eagle-like pommel. 2-Piece antler grips secured by 2 screws. Scabbard has plated mounts w/ a black enameled body. CONDITION: blade shows light wear with light sharpening marks. Hilt shows light wear. Scabbard shows light wear with over 90% finish remaining.
