^Lot 1603 WWII GERMAN M1933 SS DAGGER MARKED RZM.

A good example of a WWII German M1933 SS dagger measuring 14 3/4" overall with a blade etched " Meine Ehre Heisst Treue " and marked " SS 188/25 RZM " indicating manufacture by an as yet to be identified maker during the early years of the Third Reich. Nickel silver crossguard stamped " Sw " on the reverse and a matching nickel silver pommel guard. Black wooden grip with an eagle and black enameled SS button inset. Black enameled scabbard with nickel silver mounts and origin black leather hanger. CONDITION: blade is a bit worn and cleaned with slight evidence of light professional sharpening. Hilt and scabbard show light overall wear. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of John "Jack" Dhooghe. (02-25562/BF). NON-GUN. $1,500-2,250.
