^Lot 1599 WWII GERMAN KRIEGSMARINE DAGGER.

A very nice example of a WWII German Kriegsmarine dagger measuring 16 5/8" overall with a plain unmarked blade. Gilded brass crossguard with central anchor in rectangle. Gilded brass pommel depicting an eagle with Party symbol. Off white wire wrapped grip with correctly tied bullion knot. Gilded brass scabbard with dimpled motif. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing finish with very minor staining. Hilt shows light wear with a majority of the gilded finish remaining. Grip is undamaged and the knot shows light wear. Scabbard retains most of its original gilded finish. (02-24963/BF). NON-GUN. $600-900.
