A very nice example of a WWII German Kriegsmarine dagger measuring 16 5/8" overall with a etched blade marked " (logo) W K C ". Etching includes nautical and decorative motifs. Gilded brass crossguard with central anchor in rectangle. Gilded brass pommel depicting an eagle with Party symbol. Dark orange wire wrapped grip. Gilded brass scabbard with dimpled motif. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing finish with some wear to the etching. Hilt shows light wear with a majority of the gilded finish remaining. Grip is undamaged. Scabbard retains most of its original gilded finish. (02-24962/BF). NON-GUN. $600-900.
