Cal. 8x58 R Danish. S# 14944. Bbl. 33". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1600m. All visible parts having matching numbers. Swedish M67 Rolling Block updated for 8x58R Danish Krag round. Right side of action has 1875 date & crown "C" Carl Gustaf marking. Top rear of bbl. has crown "C" & "PB. BM" markings. Blued bbl. & bands. Case colored action. Hammer & block has bright in-the-white finish. European hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & leather sling. Stock has brass disc with "9R/5K./No.211." unit marking. Ramrod present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct Carl Gustafs made socket bayonet numbered to a different rifle with "17R3K/No.94" unit marking. CONDITION: stock shows an old cleaning with flaking finish, a few drying cracks on butt, scattered dings, scratches & handling wear. Action retains 80% case colors with fading to gray along bottom edges, some handling marks & light oxidation. Bbl. & bands retain 90% blue with scattered handling marks, Light oxidation, edge wear & fading. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered light oxidation but strong rifling.
