Cal. 40 S# 40. Bbl. 29". Consignor states this device was provided to Remington by the Swedish Government. 6.5x55 Swedish Pressure test device. Overall length 37". Right side of action is dated 1918 & has Carl Gustafs "C" crown marking. Trigger & bolt are also numbered "40". CONDITION: metal is an overall gray patina with some tool marks from being in a device, scattered oxidation, traces of bluing & a few spots of old light pitting. Very good bore with strong rifling.
