Cal. 577 Snider. NSN. Bbl. 30 1/2". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated 1000yds. Snider rifle made by National Arms & Ammunition of Birmingham. No visible country property or model markings. Lock has NA &A Co markings with 1879 date & crown "VR" at rear. Bbl. has varied British proofs including "(Broad Arrow) WD/E". Trigger guard has replacement ring instead of sling hardware. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & leather sling. Ramrod present. CONDITION: sanded stock shows scattered dings, scratches & handling wear. Metal shows overall fading with traces of case colors & bluing, oxidation, handling marks, some light pitting & dings.
