Cal. 303 Brit. S# U36011. Bbl. 25 1/4". Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 800yds. Rifle is equipped with a No. 32 Mk 3 scope made by Cooke, Troughton, and Simms. Scope has post reticle & optics that have a green tint. Front of scope has brass sunshade. Scope mount is numbered "V37987" & rings are numbered "P81" & "P82". Bolt is matching numbered to socket. Other visible parts are unnumbered or numbered differently than socket. Left side of receiver is marked "T". Left side of socket has serial number, "M47C" BSA marking, 1945 date & "TR" marking. Right side of socket has "ENGLAND" import marking. Left side of receiver has "BNP" crown proof. Metal has a mix of gray phosphate & black suncorite finishes. Hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & cheekpiece. Top of wrist is numbered "23574" & bottom of butt is marked "S51". MAGS: 1-10 rd. detachable & numbered to a different rifle. CONDITION: sanded stock set shows some handling marks. Metal retains 70% arsenal rework finishes with scattered edge wear, some touch up, fading to gray, oxidation & a few patches of pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
