^Lot 1523 EXTREMELY RARE & EARLY 1932 ERMA S.E.L.f. P.08

LARGE BOX .22 LR CONVERSION KIT. S.E.L.f. P.08 (Selbstlade-Einsteck-Lauf fur Pistole 08) .22 LR conversion kit (S# 122) mfg. by ERMA for military and police usage. The bottom of the wood transit case is properly marked with an "R.R." inspection proof above "1932" and a Spandau Eagle/Su45 proof, with what appears to be an Eagle/WaA85 present on the locking piece. The kit consists of a .22 LR toggle assembly, breechblock, bbl. assembly, and cleaning rod (cleaning rod nrush is absent). Toggle assembly, bbl. assembly, and mag. exhibit Eagle/WaA49 proofing. Cleaning rod handle is stamped with an "RK" inspector proof and Spandau "Eagle/Su58 proof. All serialized parts are matching and include the toggle assembly, bbl. assembly, and mag. Kit is complete with standard P.08 ejector. CONDITION: blued parts and components are excellent, showing some light wear, as well as some superficial marks from handling and storage. In-the-white parts show some scattered spots of age related discoloration, with the bbl. exhibiting what appears to be some very light pitting. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Handle is very good, showing some scattered marks and a few minor impressions from handling and storage. Case shows scattered superficial handling marks and dings from handling and storage, with a large scratch present on the lid. An exceptional example of an extremely early production ERMA S.E.L.f. P.08 conversion kit. (02-24334/MLW). NON-GUN. $2,000-3,000.
