^Lot 1506 EARLY WALTHER G43 SEMI AUTO RIFLE.

Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 7671a. Bbl. 22" threaded. Standard G43 sights. Rifle is also equipped with a dow coded ZF4 scope on a post-war Czech mount. Scope has post reticle & green tinted optics. All visible parts are mismatched with parts having mixed inspection stamps. Dust cover missing. AC44 coded early Walther G43. Metal has a mix of bluing && phosphate finishes. Gustloff made laminated stock set. No cleaning rod present. MAGS: 1-10 rd. marked "gcb" & "K43". CONDITION: refinished stock has added varnish with thin crack behind trigger guard, a couple long thin cracks on handguard, scattered dings, handing marks & staining. Metal shows scattered strong arsenal blue traces, fading to gray, oxidation, edge wear & some light pitting bbl. Action functions properly when scope mount is off but mount needs adjustment for proper bolt function. Bore shows some light pitting & frosting but strong rifling. (25-5057/MJC). CURIO. $1,500-2,250.
