Cal. 7.63mm. S# 712295. Bbl. 3 7/8". C96 Bolo semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser. Breech flats exhibit standard markings, with the S# marked on the left. Left side of the frame is marked with the small Mauser banner logo, with Mauser's 2-line address marked on the right. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved wood grips. Fixed blade front sight with tangent V-notch rear sight graduated 50-1000. Nearly all numbers are matching and include the frame, sub-frame, locking block, floorplate, bbl./bbl. extension, bolt, and bolt stop. Sear is mis-matched and poorly fit. CONDITION: metal components exhibit a mottled gray patina, with scattered spots of moderate pitting present overall. Dark bore, exhibiting consistent moderate pitting, while retaining fair rifling throughout. Hammer does not hold on cock. Grips show scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (25-4358/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
