Cal. 7.63mm. S# 706092. Bbl. 3 7/8". C96 Bolo semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser. Standard markings on chamber, with S# marked on left side. Left side of frame is marked with the Mauser banner logo, with Mauser's 2-line address on the right. Left side and underside of bbl. exhibit an illegible import mark. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved wood grips. Fixed blade front sight, with tangent V-notch rear sight graduated 50-1000. Matching numbers are present on the frame, sub-frame, hammer, and bbl./bbl. extension. CONDITION: metal components retain fair amounts of their reapplied blue finish, showing areas of wear and thinning, as well as scattered spots and areas with varying degrees of pitting overall. Bore exhibits consistent moderate pitting, with no discernible rifling. Grips show heavy smoothing, as well as scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage.
