Cal. 45 ACP. S# 2445640. Originally mfg. 1945 within S# range 2,380,014 to end of production. This pistol appears to have most original parts including Keye Fiber grips. However, there is evidence of hobbiest accurizing including replacement barrel bushing, "ACE" trigger shoe, and accurizing to High Standard 5" barrel. MAGS: 1 WWII 7 rd. w/ deeply swedged pins & spot welded spine. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: repro. Colt 1911A1 box. CONDITION: barrel needs gunsmith attention, barrel lugs show evidence of previous welding, heat treatment & grinding along with a crack through right barrel lug to link pin. Very good original parkerized finish showing scratches from improper slide lock installation along with light cycling wear & light handling marks. Very good grips. Very good rifling. (25-5376/MD).
