CORRECT BOX & HOLSTER. Cal. 45 ACP. S# 2439772. Mfg. 1945 within S# range 2,380,014-2,619. Based on "US Pistols & Revolvers 1909-1945" by J.C. Harrison, appears to have all correct parts including High Standard 5" barrel & Keyes Fiber grips. MAGS: 1 - 7 rd. w/ spot welded spine & deeply swedged pins. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: correct appearing Remington Rand 1911A1 box with matching S# in blue ink & faded pencil GI address. Box in good intact condition with stain spots, marks & torn tape. 1917 dated G&K holster in intact condition showing heavily scuffed finish on holster & verdigris on rivets. CONDITION: over 90% original parkerized finish on frame & slide with scattered small spots of stains, area of worn finish on right side of frame from holster & scratches on frame & slide from improper slide installation. Very good grips. Very good original barrel blue with areas of cycling wear; near excellent rifling. (25-5360/MD). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
