^Lot 1362 U.S. REMINGTON MODEL 1903A3 BOLT-ACTION MILITARY

RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 4021829. Bbl. 24". Two groove barrel marked "RA / flaming bomb / 9-43" behind front sight. Rifle modified with target sighs. Lyman 48 rear sight with small knobs graduated to 125 points. 7/8 OD sight aperture. Sight numbers are matching. Front sight fixed base has been blued. Movable base replaced with Lyman target aperture front sight. Model 1903A3 bolt marked on top of handle "R2". Cutoff marked "R". All stamped furniture including fine checkered trap buttplate and large bow trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Stock set has visible "RA FJA" on left side and encircled "P" proof under grip. Assembly marked partly visible ahead of trigger guard. CONDITION: stock set has gloss type refinish with numerous spots of gray colored wooden filler. Metal has perfect mix of blue and parkerized finish with thinning and moderate wear. Sling swivel on lower band retained by hex nut. Bore has lightly worn frosted appearance.
