RIFLE. Cal. 308 Win. S# SSA0010. Bbl. 24" heavy profile. Unmarked Redfield style scope base. Left rear of receiver has two vacant sight holes. Underside of bolt has matching electro pencil number. Remington 700 made in 2005-2006 to commemorate the original Vietnam era M40 sniper rifles. Rifle has "SSA" prefix to denote USMC Scout Sniper Association endorsement & "U.S." marking. Barreled action has gray parkerized finish. Bottom metal has matte black finish. Pistol grip walnut stock with vacant bottom mounted sling stud holes & left side cheekpiece. CONDITION: stock shows some light handling marks. Metal retains 95% parkerized & black finishes with some edge & handling wear. On bbl. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
