^Lot 1350 ITALIAN M1 GARAND 7.62 NATO SEMI-AUTO CONVERSION.

Cal. 7.62mm NATO. S# 2615454. Bbl. 25" including original compensator. Bbl. is marked on right side "SIAU 1967 MP". T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Rifle was converted by Beretta in Italy using a US 1944 Springfield receiver & Italian made 7.62 NATO bbl. Receiver was not modified for selective fire. The trigger housing electro-penciled to match is marked "FB BM59 HRA". Trigger housing was modified to accept a BM59 detachable magazine which is not present with this example. The Springfield marked operating rod is additionally marked on the right side w/ "7.62mm/2". The bolt is marked "SA". Walnut stock set. Buttstock has the added solid rubber buttplate w/ sliding trap. Pivoting rear swivel. Buttstock has wood filler block on both sides at the right forward end of the receiver to convert a select fire stock back to its original configuration. CONDITION: stock set has moderate wear, staining & handling marks throughout. Metal retains 75% of its arsenal rework parkerized finish w/ thinning & light wear. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands.
