Receiver marked on right front leg in electro-pencil "SA / 10 65" indicating an arsenal overhaul in October of 1965. All major parts markings are "SA". Stamped trigger guard. Replacement hardwood buttstock marked on left side w/ boxed defense acceptance eagle & encircled "P" proof under grip. Walnut handguards. Green web sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: four section cleaning rod with tip & handle. Plastic oiler & two plastic grease cups. Original Department of the Army shipping paper dated 8th August 1975. Requisition & shipping invoice document from Rock Island Arsenal form "DD1149" dated 1975. CONDITION: stock set has very nice appearance w/ only small scattered handling marks. Metal retains nearly all of its arsenal rework type finish, maintaining a very good appearance. There are notable small dents in the left side of the receiver at the end of the clip latch.
