M1 GARAND SEMI-AUTO MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 4787740. Bbl. 24". Barrel is marked on the right side "HRA D6535448 6-54 RS34". Throat and muzzle gauge 1.5. Very nice correct rifle with original finish and crisp legible markings. All major parts markings are "HRA". T105E1 rear sight. Elevation knob marked "HRA". Windage knob marked "DRC". Blade front sight with protective ears. High hump gas cylinder lock screw. Stamped trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Buttstock marked on left side with defense acceptance eagle. Marked under grip with encircled "P" proof. Right side of buttstock has fading white "321" rack number. Vintage green web sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: nickel-plated oiler and combination tool in butt. CONDITION: stock set has original finish with moderate wear and numerous scattered handling marks. Metal retains 90% of its original parkerized finish except the gas cylinder which has an arsenal rework finish over a small amount of pitting. Very good shiny bore.
