Rifle has been assembled as an M1D sniper rifle using a reproduction blued steel base & bracket. Bracket has been wire brushed for a more worn authentic appearance. Blued steel M84 scope w/ non-tapered post reticle. Nomenclature plate is not present, leaving the two retaining screws. Sliding sun shade & rubber eye cup present. Unmarked lace-on leather cheekpiece. All major parts markings are "SA". Walnut stock set. Buttstock has faint boxed "SA" & added boxed "S.A. / EMcF" & "crossed cannons". Encircled "P" proof under grip. Reproduction tan leather sling. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework type finish w/ light wear & handling marks. Metal retains 90% of its arsenal rework Parkerized finish. Scope has appearance of cold bluing w/ moderate wear. Optics are slightly cloudy, but serviceable.
