Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 5751385. Bbl. 18". Barrel is marked with "W" on top ahead of bayonet lug. Marked with Winchester prood underneath bayonet lug. Barrel band is marked "SA". Stamped adjustable rear sight marked with "H" in shield. Blade front sight with protective ears. Flat "W" marked bolt. Six o'clock slide marked "W". Milled trigger housing with push button safety. Safety is marked "EW". All other parts markings are "W". Oval cut low wood walnut stock marked on right side with crisp crossed cannons. Sling slot appears unmarked. Recoil plate marked "W". Tiny "flaming bomb" at end of pistol grip. Four rivet handguard marked "W". Green web sling. Two pocket slip-on magazine pouch marked "HOFF / 1943" and "US". MAGS: one detachable 15 round marked "BW". CONDITION: stock set has light wear and scattered small handling marks over its original finish. Markings are crisp. Metal retains 80% of its original parkerized finish with thinning and light wear. Very good shiny bore. (25-6522/RW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
