Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 5617479. Bbl. 18". Bbl. is marked on top at midpoint "W" & is marked near forend tip w/ "WP" proof. Flip-type rear sight is unmarked. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Narrow bbl. band marked "U". Straight cut "W" marked slide. Replacement flat bolt is marked "IO" & has parkerized finish. Milled trigger guard marked "INLAND". Push button safety. Mag. catch marked "E". Straight hammer marked "W". Low wood oval cut walnut stock marked faintly on left side ahead of sling slot "STD / PROD / RWH". Green web military style sling. Two rivet handguard marked "SCB". CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework finish w/ added finish over numerous handling marks. Metal w/ the exception of the bolt has been reblued w/ moderate polishing leaving the markings generally legible. Bore has strong sharp lands w/ light pitting in muzzle area.
