Cal. 30 Carbine. S# 2473283. Bbl. 18". Bbl. is marked behind front sight "UNDERWOOD / 1-43 / flaming bomb". Replacement flip-type rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Narrow bbl. band w/ rectangular stamped swivel. Straight cut slide marked ".U.". Round bolt marked "SU". Unmarked fabricated trigger guard. Push button safety. Smooth mag. catch marked ".U.". Straight cut hammer marked "WU". Low wood walnut buttstock w/ oval cut marked inside sling slot "LW?". Marked on right side of butt w/ boxed "G.H.D. / UEF / crossed cannons". Two rivet handguard marked "JLB". Green web 1952 dated sling. MAGS: 1 detachable 15 rd parkerized marked "LU". CONDITION: stock set has a lightly restored finish w/ good appearance, but showing visible sanding marks throughout. Metal retains 80% of its original parkerized finish w/ light wear & scattered small scratches. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1852/RW).
