Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Rear sight base is marked "N". Barrel band w/ bayonet lug & wire type swivel is marked "SI". Six o'clock slide marked "PI". Flat bolt marked ".U.". Milled trigger guard marked "INLAND". Rotary safety. Mag. catch w/ 30 round extension. Straight cut hammer marked "W". Walnut stock set. Oval cut low wood buttstock marked "LW" in sling slot has additional bored soldier type marking at end of grip w/ letters "D E N" carved over "double triangle" atop "M". Four rivet handguard marked "IO". Green web sling. MAGS: three blued steel 15 round detachable magazines. Two are GI, one is commercial. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: two pocket mag. pouch on buttstock marked "U.S." on flap. Additionally marked "J.Q.M.D. / 1943". CONDITION: stock set has moderately worn original finish w/ numerous scratches & handling marks throughout. Small crack on top of grip behind recoil plate. Small raised chips at front and rear of magazine well. Handguard has notable missing chip at forward end, largely concealed by barrel band. Metal retains 80% of its original parkerized finish w/ light wear. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. (25-4738/RW). CURIO. $700-1,000.
