^Lot 1280 WW2 M1918 BAR LEATHER SCABBARD.

WW2 leather scabbard for the M1918 BAR. Top of inside marked "BOYT 43" & ‘D-6065" under cover. Steel strengtheners Leather carry strap present with yellow pad that appears to be a modern addition but this could be removed easily if one wanted. 47" overall length. CONDITION: both top & bottom of scabbard show large dented areas. Leather otherwise shows some faint ink writing, scattered crazing, flaking & staining. Steel parts show scattered flaking black finish & some light oxidation. (02-25399/MJC). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
