MG-34 GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) display gun / parts kit assembled on an original receiver, which had been cut, rewelded, and filled with steel. Top of the perforated bbl. shroud is marked with Waffenwerke Brunn's "dot" mfg. code above "1945" and the S#, with most remaining parts appearing to have been of post-war issue or mfg. Receiver exhibits a black enamel type finish, with remaining metal components exhibiting a blue finish overall. Trigger housing exhibits a phosphate finish. Plain wood buttstock with 2-piece grooved black synthetic grips. Standard flip-up iron sight. Complete with original German WWII bipod. Bbl. shroud is frozen, with bbl. markings and bore condition being unable to be confirmed. No matching numbers present. CONDITION: receiver retains large amounts of its black enamel finish, exhibiting scattered spots and areas of flaking. Blued parts retain large amounts of their period arsenal blue finish, exhibiting varying degrees of wear and thinning, with varying degrees of oxidation/pitting present overall. Buttstock exhibits scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a crack present on the underside, as well as a circular wood plug repair present on the upper and lower section.
