Cal. 5.56mm. S# S1757. Bbl. 16 1/4". 1 of only approx. 4,000 AR-180 semi-automatic rifles mfg. in Costa Mesa, CA by Armalite. Left side of the upper is marked with the Armalite logo, followed by an unusual "SERIAL NUMBER" marking above "AR-180", followed by 4 "0"s (1 "0" partially over stamped by "180"), and other typical factory markings including the cal. designation and Armalite's mfg. information. Receiver is marked with the S# "S1757". Metal components exhibit a phosphate finish overall, save for on the bolt carrier which is blued. Bolt exhibits a chrome plated finish. Standard 2-piece ventilated black synthetic handguard, with custom wood pistol grip and side-folding buttstock. Standard AR-180 post front sight / piston assembly (with integral bayonet lug) and dual aperture rear sight graduated "200" and "400". Bbl. has been shortened, threaded, and fitted with a faux aftermarket sound moderator. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original phosphate finish, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks overall. Sound moderator exhibits areas of wear, thinning, and discoloration. Mirror bore, retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Synthetic handguard shows some scratches and superficial handling marks, but otherwise remains sound. Custom wood pistol grip and buttstock show scattered superficial handling marks, with the buttstock exhibiting a circular ding from the receiver's stock stud.
