WITH ARMALITE 2.75X SCOPE. Cal. 5.56mm. S# S1667. Bbl. 18". 1 of only approx. 4,000 AR-180 semi-automatic rifles mfg. in Costa Mesa, CA by Armalite. Left side of the upper is marked with the Armalite logo, followed by the model and cal. designations, as well as Armalite's mfg. information. Left side of the receiver is marked with the S#. Receiver and upper exhibit a phosphate finish, with the bbl. and front sight / piston assembly exhibiting a black enamel type finish. Distinctive 3-prong flash hider exhibits a blue finish. Bolt exhibits a chrome plated finish. 2-piece ventilated black synthetic handguards, pistol grip, and side-folding buttstock with grooved black rubber buttplate. Standard AR-180 post front sight / piston assembly (with integral bayonet lug) and dual aperture rear sight graduated "200" and "400". Receiver is fitted with a blue anodized aluminum scope mount, fitted with an Armalite 2.75x20mm scope. Scope is complete with its black leather lens covers. MAGS: 1 black enamel finished aluminum Armalite 20-rd. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks overall. Charging handle appears to be a replacement, having worn to a gray patina and exhibiting areas of age related discoloration overall. Bbl. shows some spots of wear and flaking to its black enamel finish. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Black synthetic furniture shows some superficial scratches and marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains very good overall. A very nice example of a desirable Armalite AR-180 rifle.
