Lot 1241 ARMSCORP M14 TYPE SEMI-AUTO MILITARY TYPE

Cal. 7.62x51. S# A003181. Bbl. 25" including flash suppressor. Bbl. is marked on the left side "TRW / 2-63". Additional makings on right side over chamber include "NMSAMA. SAU. MA.". Receiver is marked on right rail "ARMSCORP OF AMERICA SILVER SPRING MD". Marked at heel "US RIFLE / 7.62MM M14 / ARMSCORP LOGO / serial number". Serial number electro-penciled to match on bolt and receiver. Bolt has additional unknown electro-penciled marking on top. This Armscorp rifle was produced in the late 1980s & utilizes the investment cast receiver common to the manufacture of this type of rifle. The rifle appears to be very high quality & uses many GI parts to include the barrel, operating rod, bolt, trigger housing, hammer & sight parts. The handguard ferrule is very tight, however, the gas shutoff is still functional. Rifle also has the connecting bar & selector stud installed solidly on the right side in-order to replicate the look of a US issue M14. T105E1 aperture rear sight. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bayonet lug is present on flash hider assembly. Brown G.I. fiberglass handguard. Buttstock w/ metal liner is unmarked. Standard GI buttplate. Green web sling. MAGS: none. CONDITION: stock has very good appearance w/ only very light wear & scattered handling marks. Handguard has lightly worn appearance. Metal parts retain a large degree of their parkerized finish w/ some thinning & light wear. Gas cyl. has notable loss of finish. Very good shiny bore w/ sharp lands. (25-2957/RW).
