AK-47S SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. Cal. 7.62x39mm. S# DF-03212. Bbl. 16 1/4". Legend Series AK-47S semi-automatic rifle mfg. in China at Factory 386 for Polytech and imported by KFS. Left side of the milled receiver is marked with Factory 386's "386" within an oval insignia, followed by the S#, the model and cal. designations, KFS' importer information, as well as "POLY TECHNOLOGIES" logo. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt assembly, which is polished in-the-white. Receiver cover and portions of the receiver have acquired a plum coloration. Plain wood forearm and handguard, with flat checkered wood pistol grip and steel under-folding buttstock. Open top AK pattern post front sight with tangent V-notch rear sight marked "D" (at lowest position) and graduated 1-8. Chrome lined bore with threaded muzzle and muzzle cover. All serialized parts are matching and include the receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, and gas cyl. tube. Cleaning rod is present. MAGS: 1 blued steel 30-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue/plum finish, exhibiting some superficial handling marks and lights scratches, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation and pitting overall. Brilliant mirror chrome lined bore, exhibiting some streaks of grease, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the under-folding buttstock. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (25-2288/MLW). MODERN. $2,000-3,000.
