Left side of receiver with model designation, S#, and "THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE/ CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE", with patent information and Auto-Ordnance's West Hurley address marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip and foregrip, with high grade wood buttstock. Cutts style compensator with dovetailed blade front sight and folding ladder rear sight. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, showing some scattered superficial handling marks overall. Compensator and front sight show some areas of mild wear and thinning. Very bright bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Pistol grip and foregrip are very good overall. Buttstock exhibits scattered handling marks and several open grain checks, but otherwise remains sound. (25-1374/MLW). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
