Lot 30 New Mexico Goulds Enhancement Tag
As the auction winner of this extremely rare opportunity to harvest a Gould’s turkey in the US, you will be allotted the authorization for a Goulds turkey enhancement permit, which may be transferred through sale, barter, donation, or gift to other individuals qualified to purchase a license and hunt.
Once an authorization is converted to a permit, the permit will be non-transferable. The permit holder will be able to harvest one Goulds Gobbler, which can be used to hunt any 30 days between April 1 and May 31.
Additionally, the permit holder will receive a Spring Turkey license for the OTC spring turkey season (April 15 - May 15, for 1 bearded turkey, Merriam’s or Rio Grande Turkey).
All proceeds from the tag will be used for the restoration and management of Goulds turkeys and their habitat in New Mexico.
