Booth #2828
An exciting 5-day trapline adventure in Whitecourt, Alberta Canada, for one person.
Once you get settled into the lodge we will get right to checking a working trapline. Different areas of the trapline are checked daily from early December to late March. You will have an opportunity to trap a variety of different furbearers including: Marten, Fisher, Lynx, Beaver, Muskrats, Otter, Fox, Coyote, Weasels, Squirrels and Wolves.
In Alberta trappers are assigned, and own a specific trapping area , so we will be the only trapper on 2 different traplines spanning about 1200 km2. We will build and prepare our own snares as needed and employ a variety of trapping methods for different species, as well as choose and lay out bait sites and snare locations for wolf and coyote. We will be processing a variety of different animals (depending on what we catch) from skinning and fleshing to boarding and finishing. We usually take one day and call for coyotes as well. If the opportunity arises to trap or shoot a wolf there is a trophy fee on wolves of ($2750.00USD)
Any tanning, shipping, or cites permit costs relating to fur a client wishes to take home is the responsibility of the client.
This trip is scheduled for JANUARY 2027 (weather and snow conditions permitting)
Additional hunters may be added at the regular rate of $3950.00 (Depending on availability)
Season dates are from Oct 15 to March 31
