Heath Smith of New Zealand Hunting Adventures is offering 1 hunter and 1 observer, 5 days and 4 nights at their privately owned, 22,000-acre ranch. Fox Peak Station is known best for its big Red Stags, Himalayan Bull Tahr, Wapiti, Fallow Bucks and Chamois like nowhere else in New Zealand. The package includes transport to their lodge from Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand, and while on the hunt, 2-on-1 guiding, on-location lodge accommodation, cooked meals, all refreshments, field preparation of your trophies and delivery to our taxidermy for mounting or export. This package includes one trophy-class bull Tahr, and a one-day duck hunt (May and June) with a 25 bird bag limit. Observers are also welcome to hunt at no extra cost other than what they choose to hunt. Big game animals on the property include Red Stag, Wapiti, Bull Tahr, Fallow Buck, Chamois, Pacific Goat and Awapara Ram. Hunt dates are May to June 2026 or 2027. Guide Ben Smith guided Chapter Past President Dan Olson on his hunt in 2023 for Tahr, Fallow and Chamois, and Dan said he did an outstanding job!
