^Lot 1688 Harrington & Richardson Single Shot 410 Ga #A75303

Single shot box lock Harrington & Richardson break barrel shotgun manufactured in Worcester, MA circa 1940 ('A' prefix). It has a 410 gauge, or .44 caliber chamber. It features a 26" barrel, brass bead, blued finish, color case receiver, plain wood semi-pistol grip stock with plain forend, single smooth curved trigger, extractor, splinter forend, and plastic grooved buttplate. The chamber measure 2.5 inches, and the bore measures 'M' with a drop-in gauge. The barrel and receiver have matching serial numbers. The wood is very good with some handling marks around the grip, bottom and rear of stock. The original blued finish is approximately 75% with most of the wear towards the muzzle, and it shows some patina throughout. The receiver finish is approximately 65%,showing patina on the bottom and top tang.
