Lot 1444 Marlin Model 94 .32-20 #395349
Vintage lever action rifle manufactured circa 1908. Features blued finish, straight gripped two piece stock, curved steel buttplate, 24" octagonal barrel, German silver blade front, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights, (Missing elevator) full length magazine tube. Bore is rough/pitted, with shallow rifling, Metal finish is mostly turned a brown patina with some scattered pin-prick pitting, action is smooth, markings are clear, wood is poor with damaged/cracked wrist that has been repaired with a screw, 3 1/4' chip out of the wood next to the left tang, many scratches, scrapes. The rear hammer channel has been repaired with brass solder on both sides. Upper tang screw missing. "J.L.D. is carved in the lower underside of the forearm.
