^Lot 1429 Zastava / CAI 59/66 'SKS' 7.62x39mm #S-659742

Yugoslavian made semi-automatic SKS pattern rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, manufactured circa 1967-1989. Imported by C.A.I. of Georgia, V.T. with import marks on the right side of the barrel. Features a blued finish, 20.5" barrel with grenade launcher, hooded post front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to1,000 meters, folding grenade launcher sight, under-folding blade style bayonet, smooth trigger, manual safety, fixed 10 round magazine, smooth wood handguard, and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with grasping grooves in the forend, black rubber recoil pad. Serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, top cover, magazine, triggerguard, and stock. Rifle retains approximately 90% of it's original finish showing light scattered pitting, mostly on the magazine, triggerguard. Action is smooth, the bore is excellent/bright and the wood stocks are very good with scattered blemishes.
